課程概述

本課程的目標,在使學習者能瞭解區域研究的基本理論與研究途徑,以期學習者能夠掌握足夠的知識與方法,從事進一步的研究。本課程的目標,不在教授學習者研究方法,學生應該從其他課程研習相關的知識。不過,為了研習的方便,本課程也將簡介相關的知識,如比較研究法及田野調查法等。然而,本課程的重點,主要仍將置於區域研究相關的理論研究途徑,希望透過本課程的學習,能充實學生的理論訓練,提高學生的研究品質。

課程要求
學生必須準時出席上課,並在課前研讀相關的教材,上課時應積極的發問和參與討論。學生必須在期中時交一篇讀書報告,並在期末時交一篇研究報告。學生的成績將由平時課堂上的參與及兩篇報告來決定。

成績評量方式:
課堂參與15%、期中報告35%、期末報告50%。
